We plan small-group tours and overnight trips built around the people who make the wine — vineyard walks, cellar tastings, and dinners with the winemakers themselves, across regions our founders know personally.
Trips capped so every guest gets time with the winemakers, not a bus window.
Built on relationships with wineries our founders have bought from and hosted for years.
Starting close to home and expanding to new wine regions each season.
Terroir Travel Company came out of a simple observation: most wine tourism happens at arm's length — a tasting room counter, a group of forty, a script. The trips we run are built the opposite way.
Our tours are led by a wine expert with decades of experience and sourcing relationships across wine regions worldwide, developed over years of hosting weekly wine schools, tastings, and food pairings for a local following who kept coming back for more, and creating wine lists for the region's best restaurants. That same network of winemakers and cellar doors is what our guests get to walk into.
We keep groups small, plan overnight stays instead of day-trip rushes, and treat each region on its own terms — its grapes, its food, its way of doing things.

Our first season is taking shape region by region — here's where things stand.
Our inaugural trip: a day of cool-climate Rieslings and cellar tastings at Hillick and Hobbs Winery on Seneca Lake.
We're scouting our second region now, built on the same direct winery relationships as our first trip.
A future addition as we grow into new wine regions season over season.
Tell us a little about what you're looking for and we'll follow up with details, dates, and pricing for the trip that fits.
